چکیده

Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are specialized lymphocytes that critical to preventing autoimmunity. In skin, Tregs also possess non-classical functions include promotion of hair growth and epidermal repair following superficial tissue injury. We showed a subset accumulate around follicles in murine human skin suggesting local interactions facilitate these functions. However, the chemotactic mechanisms govern Treg accumulation follicle epithelium unknown. performed single cell RNA sequencing flow cytometry, which revealed preferentially express CXCR4 mRNA protein compared effector lymph nodes. Since CXCL12 is only known cognate ligand for CXCR4, CXCL12-dsRed reporter mice were used show an enrichment this chemokine keratinocytes isthmic/infundibulum region lesser extent, bulge region. lacking demonstrated migration defect gradientin vitrosuggesting pathway utilized by trafficking skin. Constitutive deletion on did not impact cutaneous immune homeostasis. depilation, with deficiency decrease number epithelium, was associated decreased proliferation stem (HFSC), reduced length histology, significant delay regrowth clinically. Furthermore, model injury, resulted increased transepidermal water delayed barrier recovery. Taken together, results suggest CXCR4-CXCL12 axis may be necessary optimal mobilization promote regeneration through modulation HFSC biology.

Regulatory T-Cells: Potential Regulator of Tissue Repair and Regeneration

The identification of stem cells and growth factors as well as the development of biomaterials hold great promise for regenerative medicine applications. However, the therapeutic efficacy of regenerative therapies can be greatly influenced by the host immune system, which plays a pivotal role during tissue repair and regeneration. Therefore, understanding how the immune system modulates tissue ...

Regulatory T Cells in Colorectal Cancer

One of the essential protection mechanisms of immune system is Treg cells which play an important role in maintenance ofimmune homeostasis. However, they may also inhibit immune functions against tumor cells. It has been reported that Treg cellsare increased in patients suffering from different types of cancer. Increased number of Treg cells has been shown in tumor lymphnodes, peripheral blood,...

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma: malignant proliferation of T-regulatory cells.

Studies in an in vitro model of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) demonstrated that CTCL cell proliferation is stimulated by direct contact with autologous, immature dendritic cells (DCs), suggesting that CD4(+) CTCL cell division is driven by antigens presented by DC major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class 2. We now report that the T-cell receptor (TCR) of the CD4(+) CTCL cells is triggere...

T Helper Cells Profile and CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Regulatory T Cells in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is considered as the most common cause of female infertility that affects 4-10% of women in the reproductive age. Previous studies have shown the role of a balanced immune response in a successful pregnancy and fertility. Objective: To investigate the T helper cells type 1 (Th1) /Th2/Th17/Treg paradigms in peripheral blood of infertile PCOS compared ...
